The rolling balls are powerful! You can also have the heat on or off. And of course you can use the Cushion with either side up. So if you want the heat on but want the rolling balls to change direction, just turn the Cushion upside down, type of thing. I totally recommend!! Thanks, Amazon!!One person found this helpful

 I liked the heat on that one, that's why I got this with heat but its not really needed because I don't feel the heat until it's been on for a while and I don't really care about it at that point. This unit is quiet and when its done all I feel is relaxed.One person found this helpful.

I purchased this item for a road trip. This item was perfect to use on the headrest and small enough to be taken off and placed between my back and seat where I needed it. As another reviewer stated, it can overheat and turn off, but I only had that happen one time and I used it for most of the drive to Seattle and back to California. The only thing I would like to change is the ability to burn the heat off. It can get really hot and in a hot climate, the heat is not always desired.
